Acorns Toddler Group has been part of Church Lane Evangelical Church since about 1985. It is still as popular as ever. Due to demand Acorns now runs on both Thursday and Friday mornings – and parents/carers are asked to choose just one to allow everyone who wants to come to have a place. Parents and carers enjoy bringing their children who range from just a few months old to four years.

Acorns is a very well equipped activity with everything from large soft play equipment down to table activities. Each week there is a craft table staffed by one of the team and all the children can enjoy being creative.

The format of the two mornings differs somewhat;

Thursday;
From 10am – coffee, biscuits, juice. Free play. Craft table
11.40am – singing & story circle
12noon – a simple lunch for those who want to stay.

Friday
10am; Coffee & biscuits for adults. Free play. Craft table
11am – Children’s snack time
11.15 – singing & story circle
11.30 – finish.
